Our Summit Express Clinics are full service urgent care centers designed to fulfill the after hours needs of all area residents. Staffed by qualified physicians and mid-level practitioners, the Summit Express Clinics provide medical treatment, laboratory, and x-ray services 7 days a week.

The Clinics are set up to treat most urgent medical problems when your doctor's office is closed. Some of the conditions we treat include, but are not limited to:

• Allergies, Colds, and Flu
• Coughs and Sinus Problems
• Fevers
• Lacerations and Cuts
• Sprains
• Sport Physicals

Summit has three conveniently located Express Clinics. Summit Express Clinic at Deane Hill is located in the same facility as Summit Ancillary Services Center at 7211 Wellington Drive on the lower level. The Summit Express Clinic at Fountain City is located in Fountain City at 103 Midlake Drive, across the street from the Fountain City Duck Pond. The Summit Express Clinic at Farragut is located on the corner of Grigsby Chapel and Campbell Station Roads, across the street from Walgreen?s, on the back side of the Farragut Medical building. The address is 11416 Grigsby Chapel Road.

All of the Summit Express Clinic locations welcome walk-in patients, but in an effort to reduce wait times, it is recommended that you make an appointment.

If your regular primary care physician is part of Summit Medical Group, please contact the physician “on call” for your regular doctor's practice location first. He or she may advise you to go to one of the Express Clinics. You may also call the Express Clinics directly for an appointment at the telephone numbers listed above if your regular primary care physician is unavailable.

At the completion of your evaluation, a summary of the findings and recommendations of the Express Clinic physician (or mid-level practitioner) along with any lab or x-ray reports will be sent to your primary care physician for follow-up.

If you have a serious illness potentially requiring hospital admission, you should proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room rather than seek treatment at one of the Express Clinics.
